I’m deeply passionate about helping people access their pleasure, unlearn shame, and nurture meaningful relationships. My work as an intimacy coordinator and sexual health educator stems from a belief that our greatest joys—and often our deepest challenges—are rooted in how we connect with ourselves and others in vulnerable, intimate spaces.

With a decade of experience in education and a background as a designer in theatre, film, and TV, I bring creativity, collaboration, and storytelling to my work. I approach intimacy coordination as a process of designing experiences—helping individuals and groups explore their boundaries and stories while addressing challenges in a thoughtful, empowering way.

What sets me apart is my openness, humor, and authenticity. I believe sex is funny, weird, and endlessly fascinating! My workshops and sessions blend practical tools with engaging visuals and approachable techniques to make learning accessible and fun. Whether I’m working with actors, educators, or individuals, my goal is to create safe, nonjudgmental spaces where meaningful conversations can happen.

Let’s explore the weird, wonderful, and transformative power of intimacy together!

(she/they)

Malika Desai’s journey into sex education was shaped by her experiences in the tantric space, where she witnessed how much unspoken trauma can surface—and how transformative it is when people have the space to process and heal. Seeing this again and again led her to focus on prevention: bringing sex education out of the shadows before shame, fear, and misinformation take hold.

Sex is one of the most profound and natural ways for two people to connect, yet we are rarely taught how to navigate it in a healthy, fulfilling way. If you had parents who were open, honest, and led by example, you were fortunate—but most people weren’t. Instead, they grew up with silence, shame, or misinformation, often turning to porn, which is hardly the right place to learn.

Malika is passionate about making sex education open, honest, and accessible. By normalizing these conversations, she hopes to help others build confidence, connection, and a deeper understanding of something that should have never been taboo in the first place.
